Today I chaperoned a 3rd grade field trip to a low tide beach walk.

I went to a big plant sale today. 

The first of many for the season! Plant sale prices can't be beat.

Pictured is a strawberry plant, a lily of valley (large pot), 

two tomato plants and two dahlia tubers.

Today was "Moments with Mom" for 1st grade. C painted and decorated a paper plate hat for me to wear. Also, he drew a portrait of me. It's above us on the left. I don't know what my hair is so short in his portrait. :) You can click on the photo to see it enlarged.

He had a lot of help from Daddy for this project.

J and I went to see Fernando Ortega in concert at a local church.

He is in my top 5 favourite singers. 

It was just him and a piano. 

I enjoyed hearing the stories behind the songs and he is quite hilarious.

He and his wife had a daughter when his wife was 47 and he was 51!

If you aren't familiar with Fernando Ortega I recommend his music highly. 

I'll even lend you a CD if you live near me. :)

My youngest son has to make a Bible scene diorama for school. 

My hubby made this tunic to make a Playmobil person look Biblical. 

So talented! :)
