There were 2 extra kids in our house this afternoon and evening.

They go to our church and their mom is recovering from surgery.

A chair that I bought at Goodwill last year for $7. I painted it white last summer and it sat around. This weekend I washed this vintage fabric (that I found at a flea market a while back) and Jonathan and I recovered the seat. Unfortunately, the seat isn't that comfortable so I'll be getting some foam for it and recovering it again. Live and learn. :)

My family and I went to the Rick Santorum rally in Tacoma this evening.

I wanted to document that we were there.

The boys and I had a great vantage point.

Senator Santorum did an amazing job speaking (no teleprompter) since the protesters were loudly heckling him throughout his entire speech.
